Injured red-tailed hawks and great horned owls undergo complex digital radiography and specialized orthopedic pinning. Once surgical bone alignment heals, licensed wildlife rehabilitators begin daily gauntlet flight training in open woodland flight channels.
Before wild release, each patient must demonstrate total flight symmetry, silent hunting strikes, and stamina across one hundred yards of dense pine canopy.
We do not keep native raptors as exhibits. Every wingbeat in our care points back toward the wild canopy.
Permanent sanctuary residence is reserved strictly for non-releasable birds whose clinical injuries prevent wild survival, providing them lifelong specialized care and educational purpose.
